Rickshaws: The most
reliable and easily available mode
of transport in the city. During the
day, always pay by the meter. After
10pm the drivers charge 50% over the
meter and after mid night double the
meter.
Private
Taxis : There are many Car
rental companies available. Check
with your hotel car rental
companies. They are generally
reliable and affordable.
Buses
: Buses are plenty but
crowded too. We recommend intercity
buses from KSRTC for your travel.
Tongas
: These horse driven carts
can take you through the city at
their own pace. If you have the time
this mode of seeing the city is
recommended as this could provide
you with rare sights and smell of
the town.
